SIGN THE PETITION: Say NO to the anti-boycott bill

We are deeply concerned by the government’s anti-boycott bill, which threatens to erode local democracy, restrict freedom of expression, and undermine campaigns for social and climate justice. Boycott and divestment campaigns have long been used to campaign peacefully for progressive change in this country and around the world.

The bill also contains a clause which builds in immunity for Israel and its occupation against attempts to hold it to account. At a time when Israel’s far-right government is accelerating land grabs and violence against the Palestinian people, this clause, and the wider bill it is embedded in, rewards Israel for its crimes.

We support the call from a broad coalition of nearly 70 civil society organisations made up of trade unions, charities, NGOs, faith, climate justice, human rights, and solidarity organisations for MPs to reject this dangerous bill in parliament.
