Dear Arne Freundt, I am writing to ask that you finally bring an end to PUMA’s unethical sponsorship of the Israel Football Association (IFA). 
The Israel Football Association operates in illegal Israeli settlements on land stolen from Palestinians. Every settlement is a war crime under international law – pushing indigenous Palestinian families off their land, robbing natural resources, and denying Palestinians their right of movement. By sponsoring the IFA, Puma is complicit in supporting these crimes.
For four years Palestinians, and people of conscience worldwide, have demanded PUMA end its complicity in human rights abuses. In their letter to your predecessor, 200+ Palestinian sports teams outlined how PUMA is whitewashing Israel’s crimes against Palestinian sports players. They explained that “Palestinian players are routinely attacked, imprisoned and killed. They are denied the freedom of movement to attend their own matches. Palestinian stadiums have been bombed and destroyed.”
But you haven’t listened – instead PUMA has ignored its stated commitment to human rights and equality - and continued to support Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise.
As Israel's new far-right Government faces international condemnation for its plans to further steal Palestinian land by expanding its illegal settlements, and its continuing brutal milutarised attacks on Palestinians, PUMA continues to sponsor the IFA and associate itself with Israel's land theft.
Arne, the choice you have is clear: continue PUMA’s immoral sponsorship of the IFA and cause permanent damage to PUMA’s brand, or finally step up and do the right thing by ending PUMA's sponsorship of the IFA.
